DR. SANJIV PARIKH, MD
Dr. Parikh offers a full range of treatments for acute and chronic pain. Our talented medical staff have accomplished numerous years of extensive research and field experience with interventional pain management. Our recommendations and procedures focus on a variety diagnoses and treatments of patients with difficult or progressive joints, muscle, nerve, spinal, and sports related pain. Our most important goal is to work with our patients to achieve maximum pain relief. In order to achieve pain relief, we provide each patient with an individual program of integrated pain management therapy, drawing from our expertise and utilizing a wide range of innovative treatments available today.

EDUCATION
Dr. Parikh’s medical background includes expertise in various specialties, qualifying him to provide a wide range of interventional pain management services. After receiving his medical degree in India and post doctorate degree in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Parikh spent two years involved in spinal research at University of Southern California (USC), publishing several journal articles. He then completed a surgical internship at Columbia University and completed an anesthesiology residency at New York Medical College.
He was trained to perform Interventional procedures for chronic benign and malignant pain during a post-doctoral fellowship in pain management at Thomas Jefferson Medical College, in Philadelphia. From 1995 through 2001 he established, and directed the Pain Management Center at The General Hospital Center at Passaic. He also played a key role in the Neuroscience Steering Committee of the Atlantic Healthcare System.
Dr. Parikh has special interest in the treatment of intractable pain conditions using state-of-the-art technological advances, neuromodulation and the latest knowledge to interrupt pain pathways. Dr. Parikh went on to establish his own interventional pain practice, and has been in private practice since September 2001.
